General and specific training for low risk

General training provides general concepts regarding prevention and safety at work. The course lasts 4 hours for all sectors, and provides permanent training credit (i.e.  Once the course has been completed, no refresher course is required, and the certificate is valid for every field in the job/research world).
During the course, the following aspects will be analyzed: the health and safety regulatory framework at work, the concepts of prevention and protection in the workplace, and health/ safety obligations for those involved in the prevention as provided for by Testo Unico.
The general training course is delivered in e-learning format. Once the course is completed, a final evaluation test must be passed in order to download the certificate.
By law, the training on the specific risks of the job supplements and completes the safety training course.
The specific training deals with the risks related to specific functions, identification and prevention/protection of the possible damages in a specific sector.

During the specific training (low risk), the following topics will be introduced:

  1. the safety organization chart in our University
  2. the current legislation concerning the equipment provided with video terminals and the related health effects due to misuse.
  3. practical advice for proper organization and use of workstations and video terminals will be provided.

The course lasts 4 hours and the certificate obtained is valid throughout the national territory; a minimum refresher course of 6 hours every 5 years is required.
