Progetto IUPALS - (Italian Universities for Palestinian Students)

The IUPALS Project (Italian Universities for Palestinian Students), shared with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, the Ministry of University and Research, and the Consulate General of Italy in Jerusalem, provides for the overall allocation of approximately 140 scholarships distributed among the participating universities.
CRUI (Conference of Italian University Rectors), participating Italian universities, MUR (Ministry of University and Research), and MAECI (Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation - Consulate General of Italy in Jerusalem) have set the goal of awarding scholarships to enable female and male students residing in the Palestinian Territories to study in Italy starting from the academic year 2025/2026.

Project Objectives

Support female and male Palestinian students residing in the Palestinian Territories to come and study at Italian universities by benefiting from specific scholarships to attend second-cycle degree programs (Master's degrees). Strengthen the cooperation between Italian universities, Palestinian educational institutions, and other actors active at the local level (both in Italy and in the Palestinian Territories), to foster internationalization and cultural integration processes.

Target Beneficiaries

The project is aimed at female and male Palestinian students residing in the Palestinian Territories who are interested in completing a full cycle of university studies (Master's Degree, Single-Cycle Degree) at an Italian university participating in the Project.
